Fomo fee calculator: price any trade before you place it
Pick a chain and an order size and this works out what fomo takes, using the fee schedule fomo publishes. It also shows what the same trade costs with a referral attached, and it keeps the network fee as a separate line, because fomo does not publish that number and nor will we invent one.
What the calculator uses
Every number here comes from fomo's own trading-fee article, checked on the date shown at the end of this page:
| Case | fomo fee | Network fee |
|---|---|---|
| Solana, lowest-fee route, under 5 USDC | 0.10 USDC flat | Paid by fomo |
| Solana, lowest-fee route, 5 to 47.50 USDC | 2% | Paid by fomo |
| Solana, lowest-fee route, 47.50 to 190 USDC | 0.95 USDC flat | Paid by fomo |
| Solana, lowest-fee route, 190 USDC and above | 0.50% | Paid by fomo |
| Solana, other routes | 0.50%, minimum 0.95 USDC | Paid by fomo |
| Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Monad, Robinhood Chain, Arc | 0.50% | Paid by you |
| Selected major tokens | 0.05%, with an unpublished minimum on small trades | Depends on chain |
| Referral attached at signup | 0.45% instead of 0.50% | Unchanged |
Three things the calculator cannot tell you
- The network fee. On every chain except Solana you pay it, it changes by the minute, and fomo publishes no figure. The app shows it next to fomo's fee before you confirm.
- Slippage. On a thin memecoin the price you get can move further than any fee. fomo now lets you set a slippage ceiling, explained in our guide to fomo slippage settings.
- Whether your token is a "major". fomo publishes the 0.05% rate but not the list.
The practical reading: on small orders the fee percentage, not the market, is often your biggest cost. That is covered in depth on the full fomo fee schedule, and for memecoin-sized orders on the meme coin page.
How to pay the lower rate
There is exactly one lever, and it only works once: open a referral link before you create the account, which takes 0.50% to 0.45% for the life of the account. fomo's help center is explicit that there is no field to add a code afterwards, and what to do if yours was missed is on the referral troubleshooting page. Everything else about getting started is in the sign-up guide, and the wider picture of fomo trading is on the home page.
Fee calculator questions
How much does a $100 trade cost on fomo?
On Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Monad, Robinhood Chain or Arc it is $0.50, or $0.45 with a referral attached at signup, plus the network fee that chain charges. On Solana a $100 order sits in the 0.95 USDC flat band of the lowest-fee route, and fomo pays the network cost there.
Why is a small Solana trade so expensive in percentage terms?
fomo prices small Solana orders in fixed bands rather than a flat percentage. A trade between 5 and 47.50 USDC pays 2%, so a 10 USDC buy costs 0.20 USDC, which is four times the 0.50% rate. Trading larger and less often is what lowers the percentage.
Does the calculator include network fees?
No, and no honest calculator can. fomo pays gas only on Solana. On every other chain the network fee is set by the network at the moment you trade and fomo does not publish a figure, so we show it as a separate line you check in the app before confirming.
Does a referral really change the fee?
Yes, on the chains priced as a percentage: 0.50% becomes 0.45% for the life of the account. It must be attached on the signup screen; fomo’s help center says there is no field to add one later.
What counts as a major token at 0.05%?
fomo publishes the rate, 0.05% per trade, and says a minimum fee applies on smaller trades to cover blockchain costs, without publishing that minimum or the list of qualifying tokens. The calculator lets you select the rate so you can see the difference, not so you can assume your token is on the list.
