Solana is the one chain on fomo where you never pay gas: fomo covers network gas, priority fees and token rent. In exchange, Solana has its own fee tiers, which make small orders relatively expensive and orders of 190 USDC or more the cheapest per dollar anywhere in the app.

What does a Solana trade cost on fomo?

Because the flat 0.95 USDC tier caps out at 190 USDC, the effective rate falls as your order grows within it, reaching 0.50% right at the top. Below 47.50 USDC the 2% tier dominates. Why is "no gas" a bigger deal on Solana than it sounds?

Trading Solana tokens yourself normally means holding SOL for fees, paying priority fees when the network is busy, and paying rent to open a token account the first time you receive a new token. fomo's help center says it covers all three on Solana. For a new user that removes the classic first-trade problem of having USDC but no SOL to pay for the transaction.

How do you fund Solana trades on fomo?

You can use your fomo cash balance, funded by Apple Pay, a debit card or USDC. Solana is one of the three networks fomo lists for USDC deposits, alongside Base and BNB Chain. Send only USDC, and only on the Solana network, to the Solana deposit address shown in the app. Sending SOL or another token to that address is not supported, and fomo warns that sending on the wrong network can lose funds.

When is Solana the wrong choice on fomo?

• If you place many small orders between 5 and 47.50 USDC, the 2% tier can cost more than a 0.50% trade plus a modest network fee on Base.
• If the token you want lives on another chain, buying a Solana version with the same name is buying a different token.
• If you plan to move tokens out of fomo often, remember that on-chain withdrawals still need the correct network each time.

How do you get the lowest Solana fees on fomo?
