Referral links live on fomo.family itself, which is an easy check: a genuine referral always sends you to fomo.family, never to a lookalike domain that asks you to log in or connect a wallet first, and the drainer sites and fake codes we have seen are collected in our guide to fomo scams.

Who is behind fomo family?

fomo is operated by FOMO Labs, Inc., based in New York, and its Terms of Service are governed by New York law. In June 2026 the company announced a $75 million Series B led by Index Ventures, with Union Square Ventures and Benchmark participating. The announcement named Paul Erlanger as CEO and Se Yong Park and Prashan Dharmesena as co-founders, and said the app had 600,000 users and more than $4 billion in trading volume.

How do you spot a fake fomo family website?

Crypto apps with a lot of new users attract copycats. These checks take less than a minute:

• Read the whole domain. The official site is exactly fomo.family. Extra words, hyphens or a different ending are not fomo.
• No wallet connection is needed to sign up. fomo creates the wallet for you after you sign up with email or Apple ID. A page asking you to connect an existing wallet or approve a transaction to "claim" something is a red flag.
• Nobody legitimate needs your private key. fomo lets you export your key yourself, behind Face ID. Never paste it into a website or a chat.
• Check where the app comes from. Install from the App Store listing sold by FOMO Labs Inc. or the Google Play listing with package family.fomo.app, not from an APK file.
• Distrust giant discounts. fomo documents a 10% referral discount. Pages promising 100% off fees are selling a story, not a fomo feature.

Is fomo-trading.com part of fomo family?

No. This site is published by Fomo Trading App, an independent publisher, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by fomo or FOMO Labs, Inc. Where do fomo family users get help?
