How we verify what we publish

Every fee, limit and feature on this site is checked against what fomo itself publishes, and each page shows the date of that check. When fomo does not publish something, we say so rather than fill the gap. The most recent full review was on 15 September 2026.

Which sources count, and in what order?

1. fomo's help center at help.fomo.family, for fees, referrals and account rules.
2. fomo's Terms of Service at fomo.family/terms, for custody, restricted countries and product restrictions.
3. fomo's blog and answers pages on fomo.family, for how features work.
4. Official store listings and press releases published by FOMO Labs, for company, ratings and funding facts.
5. Secondary reporting, only when no primary source exists, and always labelled on the page as reported by that outlet.

Third-party guides, including other affiliate sites, are never used as a source for a number. They are useful for one thing: spotting claims that need checking.

How do we resolve conflicting information?

The primary source wins, and we say what the conflict was. A real example: at least one widely read fomo guide states that fomo covers network gas on Base, BNB Chain and Monad. fomo's trading fee article says fomo covers gas, priority fees and token rent on Solana, and that on every other network network fees are paid by the user on top of the 0.50% fee. Our fees page follows fomo's article and notes the discrepancy.

Another example is the referral discount. Pages on free publishing platforms advertise fomo codes worth 20% to 100% off. fomo's referral article describes 10%. The referral code page uses 10% and explains why the other numbers exist.

What we refuse to publish

• Fees, limits or leverage figures that fomo does not publish.
• Star ratings we invented. The only rating mentioned on this site is the App Store figure, linked to the listing and dated.
• Claims about security audits that we cannot link to.
• Names of exchanges or launchpads fomo routes to, because fomo does not publish them.
• Promises about returns, or advice on which tokens to buy.

How are pages kept current?

fomo changes quickly: it added perpetual futures in June 2026 and new chains during the year. We re-read the primary sources on a regular schedule and whenever fomo announces a change. When a figure changes, the page text and its verification date change together; we never silently edit a number and leave an old date. Pages that depend on a secondary report, such as the date fomo added Robinhood Chain, are replaced with primary sources as soon as they exist.

How can you check our work?

Every content page ends with the list of sources used for it, linked directly. You can open fomo's fee and referral articles and compare them with our tables in a couple of minutes. If you find a mismatch, send it through the contact page with the source, and we will correct it and update the date. How the site is funded is described on the about page.
